These students are not only talented in the performing arts, but are very involved at SHS and in our communities. They are honor students that take their academics very seriously and many are top of their class. They are athletes and student government representatives. They are very involved in the community, volunteering for organizations, such as Habitat for Humanity, Red Cross Youth Club, and Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center. They are some of the hardest working and caring individuals with a deep passion for the arts.
Each year, nearly 100 students take part in Stonington High School Drama, either performing onstage, working stage crew, or set production and design.

Each year, nearly 100 students take part in Stonington High School Drama, either performing onstage, working stage crew, or set production and design.
SHS Drama has become a valuable platform for many students as they learn life skills, create precious memories that they carry into adulthood and have gone on to study at some of the most competitive colleges in the country.
Many of SHS alumni continue to be involved with the current theater program, helping to inspire students while building their skills and confidence. There are many alumni working professionally in the field, both on stage and behind the curtain, paving the way for the up and coming new performers at SHS!
